My attemps influenced by Venture

My work influenced by Venture

I tried to create simialar portrait styled images as the studio Venture who use a high contrast/ other PhotoShop effects and focus on showing the personality of the subject. All i did was crop and play around with the brightness and contrast of these images, i like how they have turned out though they are quite hazy.

My attempts influenced by the Silverhead album cover by Keith Morris and the album cover for Sad Cafe by Gered Mankowitz

My work

I wanted to create a story within these images im the form of emotion. The model also added the words 'love = pain' with lip stick to the mirror without me even asking so that sums the mood up in one. I told the model to bring a quite dressed up outfit so it was asif she had been stood up for a date or just found out something bad from her boyfriend.

My attempts influenced by Sarah Fishburn, artist journals / diarys

My work

This is a book i produced it contains mostly images of my sister and her friend. I tried to use different methods on each page for example printing on to material or sowing over images aswell as Photoshop effects. I really like the finshed product of journals as theres so much to look at and touch.

My attempt influenced by Mario Sorrenti

My work

When creating this piece i thought about the people and places that are important to me. After taking the photos i turned the black and white and altered the contrast so they appeared more like old memories i then printed then out and stuck them onto a sheet of writing paper and screwed it up to get an old worn effect.

My attempts influenced by Vincent Chong

My work.

When creating these pieces i thought about the composition and layering effect Vincent Chong used in his pieces 'Cloned Christ'. The main subject in each image is the model and the smaller images, patterns and writting are there to represent the models personality.
